Project Details
The Cranberry Wind Project was identified as an opportunity through work with The Villages of Laxgalts’ap and Gingolx. Massif Energy is acting representative for the Village partnership in negotiations with a private developer who intends to bid the project into the 2025 Call for Power. Massif Energy’s role includes technical review and advisory on project materials, engagement support and material development for public consultation, engagement with Nation and Village Governments, and coordination of local project activities as required.
Within this project, Massif Energy supported a site visit for Village members to attend an active wind farm In Pincher Creek Alberta where a tour was provided of the facilities and infrastructure with an opportunity to discuss the day to day operational impacts and opportunities.
