Project Details
The Anyox Hydroelectric complex has four separate projects totalling 75 MW of capacity in the Golden Triangle of BC. These projects are a mixture of storage hydro and run of river with a capacity of 55 MW and 20 MW respectively. The goal for these projects is to power the industrial development boom in Northwest BC which includes critical minerals mines and the Ksi Lisims LNG project.
Massif Energy was brought in to support this project in 2023 and has acted as project director and technical support through the review of existing work done to date, project feasibility, and updating engineering designs as well as contractor cost estimates. Massif Energy led the development of a bid into the 2024 BC Hydro Call for Power, a submissions into the BC Hydro 2025 RFEOI, and continues to support the project owners in negotiations with interested stakeholders. Within these activities Massif Energy has supported funding applications to cover the early stage development costs.
Massif Energy has also helped to lead the community engagement around this project which has included open houses, visits to site with community members, and consultation with local Municipal and Nation governments.
